The Manhattan Beach Extended Day Program provides before and after school care for children attending Manhattan Beach Preschool, as well as, Grand View, Meadows, Pacific, Pennekamp, and Robinson Elementary Schools.

The Manhattan Beach Extended Day Program provides a learning environment that encourages and challenges children to develop cognitive, social, physical, and self-help skills that will form a foundation for learning during the elementary school years and beyond.

Interested in joining EDP? 

EDP will be accepting 2024-25 Waitlist forms at your home school's office. If you are interested in having your child be on the Waitlist, please do the following:

1. Download the EDP Waitlist form (found on the sidebar under Key Documents)
2. Fill out the form and attach a $100 check made out to MBUSD (put your child's name in the notes). Place both in an envelope labeled "EDP"
3. Drop the envelope off at your home school's front office. Contact your home school's office for availability. 
4. Please follow up with an email to your school Site Lead to notify them that forms have been dropped off.
5. You will be notified when space becomes available.

EDP Summer Information

During the summer, your school’s office will be closed. Should you need to cancel your child’s EDP Fall registration, please email Porntiwa Yangthung at [email protected] or mail a note to:

MBUSD, Attn: EDP Registration/Home School 325 S. Peck Avenue, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266

Your cancellation notice must be postmarked by July 1 in order to receive a refund of your first and last month’s tuition and by August 1st to receive a refund of the last month’s tuition.
